Recapping on my most asked questions
How do you do it all?
So if you know me personally, I'm a super fast paced person naturally who genuinely can't sit still but despite that this is my passion, which one day the dream would be to do this full time (who knows what the future holds)
I think my mindset is will I achieve my goals if I’m not putting in the work? Probably not.
Manifesting & believing massively helps…
I guess for me, in short it's not about having the time, it's about making time!
A typical day for me includes
6am start - get kids organised & dropped off at school & nursery before going for a run then I am straight to work in my day job!
I have flexi time so will sometimes use my lunch hour to do invites before heading straight back to work. I think collect the kids, spend time with them (mum duties, dinner, bath, story etc) before getting them to bed & making myself a bit cuppa & then getting down to editing for a couple hours an evening. A lot goes into producing a post behind the scenes & truth be told I edit most evenings because I love it (that's my TV or reading a book)
That good old saying 'you get what you give' & trust me you ain’t gonna get anything sitting wishing but taking no action
Im also really loving the Tik Tok side of things more! Really enjoy TikTok shop lives with Napiers & I feel very grateful to work alongside such an incredible brand I really believe in.
So yeah, more of that...
How do you deal with haters/people who make you feel silly for following your dream?
Short answer is I don't tolerate it at all.
That's what the block button is for, if you don't enjoy what I'm doing don't be here...
It's taken me a while to learn this & I know it's a bit grim but I could die tomorrow & you really think I'm gonna shy away from living my best life & my dreams because someone might hate on me or think it's embarrassing? Girl you live once... It's your life not theirs!
Plus who's got the energy for that, there's enough room for us all & kindness costs nothing... remember "no one watches you harder than the person who can't stand you"
Do you find it hard to say no?
I've been saying no a lot more actually, I'm really staying strict & true myself (not that I didn't before but more so now!) I think it took a while to find my feet, I also didn't expect to grow so fast so it's been a fast but amazing learning curve.
I want to do things that align with me with brands & businesses who value my work & my time.
With all due respect another 'free meal' or even paid posts doesn't drive me, I have to believe in what I'm doing. I've turned down a lot of paid posts because it just doesn't align with me & I have vowed to stay true to myself always on here. I guess what drives me is learning about those behind the businesses, what drives people, why they want me there, why do I fit their brand or place & then in turn look at what I can offer & do for them, not just a post! I'm really focusing on more long term partnerships now opposed to one & done stuff now.
I think for me it's never been about building a page with meaningless followers I want this to become a huge community of amazing, beautiful people where we all engage & chat etc... (maybe in the future some hosted dinners/events/help others to grow who knows!)
I've said before & I'll never shy away from eventually wanting to make this a full time thing so working out how I can move forward doing that is essential - I would love to open more doors out with just social media.
